Quilting is a heat decision before it is a look. Stitching the panels into channels stops the fill migrating, which is the only reason a thin vest can hold warmth evenly instead of pooling it at the hem.

Handmade in Verona from tumbled grain lambskin, which is lambskin worked in a drum until the grain lifts and the hand goes soft. That finish is why it does not creak and why it will carry marks rather than damage. Thin enough to go under a jacket, warm enough to be the jacket in October.

Chocolate brown is the one that reads as clothing rather than as outerwear.
